We are so glad we chose Greystoke Builders to modify our lounge. When we asked for a quote, we were given a very clear and concise list of the work to be done, with individual prices for each step, so there were no nasty surprises at the end of the job.
Paul, ‘BigJ’ and his team were totally trustworthy, reliable, polite, professional and worked like trojans during the whole time they carried out our work. They always arrived on time, they took great pride in their work and the finish with the brickwork and rendering was superb. They always cleared away each evening and left the area tidy ready for the next day. They went the extra mile to please and gave good advice. Paul was also very helpful and attentive whenever I emailed him and when we needed advice with the Council he spoke to them on our behalf on more than one occasion in order to help obtain the necessary permissions, etc.

“My house had a serious rising damp problem due to the level of the ground. Several attempts at treating walls (both inside and outside) were of no use.
On obtaining a detailed report from a Chartered Surveyor, I approached Greystokes. From the first meeting with Paul Shanahan, I felt a sense of calm and reassurance not experienced before. Paul is very knowledgeable and offered various pieces of advice and suggestions for solving the damp. He addressed every issue contained in the report and his fine team worked diligently and methodically to rectify the outer faults of my house. The drainage system installed under the paving reminds me of the Underground map. I am very, very relieved that no further damp is penetrating the building. Thank you, Paul and team!”
